VL 53L1X is an advanced Time of flight (ToF) laser ranging sensor. It is a miniature ToF sensor with an accurate measurement range of up to 4m and a fast measurement frequency of up to 50Hz. The 940nm invisible Class 1 laser emitter, physical IR filter and optics enable optimal ranging performance in a wide range of ambient lighting conditions with a variety of cover-up window options. Unlike conventional IR sensors, the VL53L1X uses STToF technology to perform absolute range measurements regardless of target color and reflectance. It is also possible to program the size of the ROI on the receiver array, allowing the sensor FoV to be reduced
