PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BME280 is an APSM (Advanced Porous SiliconMembrane) technology with small package and low power consumption digital composite sensor, which can measure ambient temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. It is downward-compatible with BMP280, and air pressure temperature register control and data readout operate in the same way. The humidity sensing element has fast wake-up and response time, high precision and wide temperature working range. The pressure sensing element is a piezoresistive absolute atmospheric pressure sensing element with low noise, high precision and high resolution. The temperature sensing element has the characteristics of low noise and high resolution, and the temperature value can be self-corrected for temperature compensation of humidity and air pressure. The humidity sensor and the pressure sensor can be independently enabled/disabled by configuring the sampling rate register, which can set the sampling rate of the sensitive element. It is very suitable for mobile devices with limited space, such as smart phones, tablets, smart watches and wearable devices, weather forecasting, vertical speed indication, flight control equipment, indoor and outdoor navigation, and smart home devices.
